Bruno D. A. Pinheiro is currently working on his phD thesis on the Doctoral Program in Chemistry at the Faculty of Sicences of University of Porto (FCUP). The on-going thesis is being developed in Physical-Chemsitry field focusing in the thermodynamic study of compounds of environmental interest.
In his academic path, BDAP graduated in Chemistry (with a complementary formation in Physics) in 2015 at FCUP, institution were he concludes the the Master degree in Chemistry (Thesis in Physical-Chemistry field) in 2017. During the bachelors degree, BDAP also was an internship trainee under the PEEC program, at the Molecular Thermodynamics for Sustainability group (RG2).
After Master's degree BDAP was granted with a research grant for 1 year and 3 months (2018-2019), working at the RG2 on the thermodynamic studies of pesticides and agrochemicals. Finished the work at FCUP, BDAP started in 2019 a research grantee position (for 2 years) at Aveiro Institute of Materials (CICECO) in the Biorrefineries field.
Until the present, the work developed by BDAP resulted in 7 publications: 6 scientific papers and 1 book chapter.
