Bio
Teresa Aguiar completed her Master's Degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP) in 2009. She completed a degree in Developmental and Educational Child Psychology in 2006 at FPCEUP. She has a postgraduate qualification in Psychogerontology. She has professional experience in various areas: as a trainer, educational psychologist, and technical director. She has participated in various research projects at FPCEUP and has worked as a Research Fellow on projects funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology and Erasmus+, at FPCEUP, the Porto Polytechnic School of Education, and the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, in the areas of Educational Psychology, Teacher Training, Inclusion, and Science Communication. In the various projects, she was responsible for all the tasks involved in selecting participants; selecting, translating, adapting, and developing instruments; collecting data; entering and analysing data (qualitative and quantitative), disseminating results, and writing reports, among others. She was a staff member at an international conference (Earli Sig 5) and took part in the organisation of actions to disseminate project results and a "Summer School". She participated in various national and international conferences, with oral presentations, poster presentations, and publications in proceedings. She has published 4 articles in specialised journals. She works in the field of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Psychology, Teacher Training, and Science Communication.
