Teacher professional development involves the construction of different knowledge aimed at the dimensions of specific knowledge of the area, pedagogical knowledge and knowledge for educational technologies. Given the current scenario of Brazilian education and considering the new legal guidelines which strongly incorporate the use of technologies and work with transversal themes, the present proposal aims to investigate the development of professional teaching knowledge within the scope of the new proposed structure. Through a systematic survey of actions already implemented for teacher training and those already developed in different educational environments, it is proposed to work on the development of new training proposals investigating the development of professional knowledge through references such as Pedagogical Content Knowledge and the Pedagogical and Technological Knowledge of the Content. Two main fronts of action are: the incorporation of technological resources and work with transversal themes. Using different methodologies, such as document analysis, content analysis, specific tools for accessing knowledge and the Design Based Research proposal, the aim is to develop training paths, analysis tools and diverse instructional materials that can to subsidize the implementation of innovative teaching and learning proposals as well as proposals that present potential for the development of professional teaching knowledge to work with the use of technologies and transversal themes.
